As we’ve studied the book of Leviticus with Pastor Dan, there have been a few things that’ve been abundantly clear – God has high expectations of His people, we’re incapable of living up to them, and the old covenant was extremely nuanced and complex. Only a few people were allowed to commune directly with God, and only after performing specific rituals. The consequences were dire if they failed. Because of Jesus, every human being has access to God. His perfect sacrifice has torn down all of those barriers.
