Sin has a way of stealing time from us—years, even decades. The Israelites wandered in the desert for forty years, not because God failed them, but because they didn’t trust His promises. It was a lot of that time was simply wasted. The same thing can happen to us. Time spent apart from Jesus doesn’t produce anything that lasts.
