If you’re an athlete, such as a baseball player or a marathon runner, you know how important it is to train.  You want to do everything you can to make yourself stronger for your sport and avoid everything that will make you weaker.  Today, Pastor Dan shows that training in godliness must be approached in that same way.  When you’re focused on living for Christ, you’re strengthening your faith and your spiritual life.  And by avoiding sin, you’re saying “no” to those things that will injure you spiritually.
