Envy is like rust on metal; it doesn’t destroy all at once, but slowly eats away from the inside out. It starts small, just a thought or comparison, but before long, it corrodes our joy, our peace, and even our relationships. Pastor Dan will explain to you today that when you envy what others have, you stop seeing what God has given you. Proverbs 14:30 says envy rots the bones; it drains life from the soul. The cure isn’t getting what others have; it’s gratitude and trust that God’s plan for you is good.
