Imagine a parent in the grocery store with a child begging for candy before dinner. The parent says no, not because they’re mean, but because they know what’s best. In the same way, God sometimes withholds things we think we need. It’s not punishment; it’s protection. Pastor Dan will tell you today that Psalm 84:11 says God withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly. So if He’s saying “not yet” or “no,” it’s not because He’s holding out on you. It’s because He loves you.
