Doing good things is great, but why do you do them? Are you a kind person and love to see the betterment of others, or are you trying to gain some type of favor from someone, and is that someone God? You might be saying, “I volunteer at the soup kitchen twice a month, so God will definitely bless me.” This is a dangerous mindset. Today, Pastor Dan teaches that God doesn’t distribute His blessings based on how “good” you think you are or the “good works” you do, but does so out of His grace alone.
