Does making a definite decision help you feel good? Kind of like, this is how it is and nothing will change my mind. It took an awful situation for Jacob to lead his family, getting rid of everything that shouldn't have been there in the first place. We learn from Pastor Dan today that God was there for Jacob. Can you imagine how discouraged Jacob might have been? He needed to hear reassurance from God and know that his actions didn't change God's promise to him. Folks, Jesus is faithful!
