Why is Good Friday good? It’s good because of the resurrection. The gospel, the good news, is good because Jesus rose again. If Jesus stayed dead, it wouldn’t be good news. Today, Pastor Dan will proclaim in his message that the resurrection of Jesus is what all of your faith hangs on. Without it, you have no hope. You would be dead in your sins, but because of the empty tomb, you can be made new. You can be transformed from death to life–transformed into a new creation that is alive to proclaim the good news.
